GUR of Ukraine: “Russian society will be punished”
Citizens of the Russian Federation bear the same responsibility for the consequences of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine as the entire Russian leadership.
Representative of the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine Andrei Yusov stated this on the TV channel of the Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky “1+1”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“These people are responsible along with the entire Russian society. You raised the question of leadership, this is a very correct question, there is Patrushev, Bastrykin, we can name other names, but there is also the question of responsibility. And he is responsible for this genocidal war, for the attempt to destroy Ukrainians as a people, as a state, and the entire Russian society.
“Because until now, the overwhelming majority of Russians, according to various sociological data, support Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, support the murders of our military, civilians, the theft of our children and all other war crimes that racists are now committing on the territory of Ukraine.
Therefore, responsibility will be collective, in accordance with international law, following the patterns of how it has already happened in the history of mankind, in particular in the XNUMXth century,” Yusov said.
