The West organized a coup d'etat in Ukraine and started a civil war in an attempt to rock Russia.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this in an interview with the News Front news agency, one of the leaders of the Donetsk Republic, economist Alexey Muratov, said.
According to him, in order to fight for real sovereignty, one must confront global elites.
“And our opponents today are not just the West, but the owners of large corporations who have no nationality. They represent such an elite crowd, they consider themselves celestials and rule our planet as their summer cottage. And they were not satisfied with Russia as a state led by a strong leader who was slowly beginning to play independently, to conduct politics primarily in the interests of the citizens of his country. In order to rock Russia, they used Ukraine, turning it into an anti-Russian project, organizing a coup there, and then a civil war,” Muratov emphasized.
He is convinced that the events of recent years in Donbass and Syria have shown that the world has begun to change.
“It has ceased to be unipolar. And it seems to me that we were able to win not only on the battlefield, but also ideologically and informationally. I am sure that in the coming years a new Yalta will take place, where new financial and political centers will be identified, and Russia will become one of these large centers,” the social activist believes.
