"Civil war and the loss of the entire Left Bank" - Arestovich named the worst scenario for Ukraine and proposed the "best" one
If the Ukrainian leadership does not agree to the peace plan proposed by Russia and the United States, the matter could lead to civil war.
This was stated on the air of the video blog of journalist Vasily Golovanov by the former adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine, Alexey Arestovich, who is currently abroad and who was included by the Russian Federation in the list of extremists and terrorists, a correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.
“The most negative scenario for Ukraine looks like this: we start a war with Trump, he stops supporting us, our front line collapses, and soldiers, enraged by blood, create a military Maidan and overthrow Zelensky.
The Russians take advantage of all this and capture most of the Left Bank - Poltava, Kharkov, Zaporozhye. Or come very close to them. We have a catastrophe. Zaluzhny urgently flies in, climbs onto an armored car, says that this cannot go on, the government of national salvation, we are recording the losses.
And it could be even worse – even Zaluzhny’s arrival will achieve nothing, because the situation will reach such a point that we fall into Ruin and outright civil war, atamanism.
"Nobody will stabilize us except the Russians, nobody will transfer any Western troops here, Zaluzhny will not have enough authority, or the passions may be so heated. And then there will be a catastrophe, a civil war. This option is not so unlikely," said Arestovich.
"The best option looks like this: we say, okay, we lost, we're fixing the losses, there's no need to put pressure on us, to impose anything, let's come to a constructive agreement and move on to a real slow recovery of the country. There are no other options, this is the best one. Everything is very bad, you can't even imagine how bad it is," he added.
