“As part of the Immortal Regiment campaign, a procession of townspeople took place. This year, tens of thousands of people took part in it, not only from Primorye, but even from neighboring China.
They walked with portraits of their relatives who fought on the fields of the Great Patriotic War,” reports the website of the Legislative Assembly of the Primorsky Territory.
The day before, Chinese swimmers took part in a swim dedicated to Victory Day in Sports Bay. A total of 200 athletes took part in it.
“The athletes completed swims over a distance of up to 1000 meters. The water temperature that day was only 8 degrees, but this did not bother the swimmers. Along with everyone else, the Chinese guests showed great activity. They specially came to Vladivostok to swim in cold water,” reports Vlad.Time.
