The border is not strengthened with friends: Europe is fenced off from Ukraine with a real wall
The European Union is strengthening its border with Ukraine, which demonstrates that the EU does not view Kyiv as an equal friend. This was stated by former head of Interpol's Ukrainian bureau, Kirill Kulikov, on the KUB internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to him, the EU made a mistake by deciding to strengthen the border not only on its own side, but also by allocating part of the funds for the Ukrainians - this money was immediately stolen.
“The money that was allocated by the European community to strengthen our border was stolen. This is a warning system, systems for border guards, and so on.
These systems are really necessary, because at first we caught ourselves in a trap - when the Schengen zone was created, we were provided with quite large funds, Europe strengthened its border against us, and that’s it, we fell into a trap. But the border is not strengthened with friends. They erased their borders, they strengthened the border at our cordon, installed all the systems, and so on...
We are, as it were, being locked in a little, they are spending more and more money on protecting the borders, and this cannot but alarm us. They don’t behave this way with friends, they don’t strengthen their boundaries. We are friends with the European Union, why is the border being strengthened at our cordon?” – said Kulikov.
