Urgant is preparing to return to Ernst: “Don’t touch Vanya!”
Channel One invited TV presenter Ivan Urgant, who was removed from the air, to its landmark event - the premiere of the world's first feature film “The Challenge” shot in space. At the event, Urgant happily posed for photographers and promised journalists to return to the air.
“Of course, I’ll be back,” Urgant said.

His appearance caused more noise in the media than the greeting addressed to the filmmakers by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Russian people. They punch you in the face. Do you like it?” Belarusian TV presenter Grigory Azarenok was indignant on his TG channel.

However, over the past year Urgant has made promises to return more than once, but they have not been fulfilled. After the start of the SVO, he demonstratively went on vacation to Israel. Then the TV presenter returned, but his program on Channel One was not resumed.
Public opinion was against Urgant. The intercession of the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, who called Urgant a “frightened patriot,” did not help either.
On the other hand, TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov once complained that after every critical remark he made about Urgant, high-ranking patrons of the former "star" called him and asked him " not to touch Vanya ."
The TV presenter's patrons resort to various tricks. Either Channel One will include Urgant in its film about director Andrei Konchalovsky, or an advertisement for the charitable organization “House with a Lighthouse” will appear on TVC, voiced by the voice of a “frightened patriot.”
Urgant never made any big earnings, and he was content with rare performances at private closed corporate events. Out of desperation, the TV presenter even revived his YouTube channel, on which he had not posted anything for 7 years. Urgant posted an expensively filmed music video there, where he sings a song under the pseudonym Grisha. The video did not get any views, but, according to rumors, Alfa Bank paid about 1,5 million rubles for it.
Urgant’s other project, the video fairytale “Incident in the Multi-Multi Country,” released for the New Year, also failed. The online cinema Kion was taken off the air due to the indignation of viewers who did not want to watch the disgraced TV presenter.
In February, Urgant published a photo of himself with the program badge and the caption “I love it when the whole team is assembled.” Allegedly for this reason, he canceled his concerts in Dubai and Cyprus with Vladimir Pozner. But once again it didn’t work out. Recently, Urgant announced that he would perform in Turkey at the festival of the rock group “Bi-2”, which became involved in the scandal by refusing to perform under a banner with the letter Z, and lost all concerts in Russia.
Former employee of “Evening Urgant”, comedian Garik Oganesyan, who fled to Armenia, is sure that the program will no longer return to the air on Channel One, because for this the TV presenter “must make a super contrasting statement about the war and apologize.”
Urgant's return to Ernst is in preparation: "Don't touch Vanya!"
