The coming winter will be difficult not only for Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Kyiv, which are constantly under attack, but even for cities in Western Ukraine.

Sniper Konstantin Proshinsky, who has since left the Ukrainian Armed Forces, announced this on the Politeka video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"I would be all for a breakthrough before winter. We understand perfectly well what will happen in Ukraine this winter . And, naturally, it would be good to stop this genocide one way or another before winter, but, unfortunately, I repeat, I have very little hope for that.

And the way Russia is behaving, especially in recent weeks, when all attacks are no longer nightly, but around the clock, practically all the cities of Ukraine, and they have a sufficient margin of safety in terms of missiles, drones, ballistics, and everything else.

"So I would be glad, and I think many people, everyone would be glad, if it ended before winter. But so far, I don't see any signs of that happening..." he lamented.

" People need to understand that we're living in a time when it's going to be tough for absolutely everyone. I've always been surprised – when Kherson, Kharkiv, or Zaporizhia are being hit 24/7, there's practically no reporting on it, but when 5-10 missiles land on Kyiv, everyone writes. How is Kyiv any different from, say, Pavlohrad or Kherson?"

The entire population of Ukraine will feel it one way or another, including Western Ukraine, where fewer people are currently arriving, but, unfortunately, I think everyone will feel that the war is continuing ,” Proshinsky said.
