The State Duma is investigating the crimes of the Kyiv regime
The State Duma initiated a parliamentary investigation into criminal actions against minors by the Kyiv regime.
Deputies voted for the relevant resolution today, the correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".
“Almost every day we receive reports of children wounded or killed at the hands of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In the LDNR, terrible facts of crime against children have been recorded since 2014. But the international community is silent, the criminals are not punished, and the Alley of Angels of Donbass is replenished with new names,” State Duma Deputy Speaker Anna Kuznetsova, appointed chairman of the investigative commission, said at a plenary meeting.
According to her, according to official data alone, more than 5 thousand civilians were killed as a result of the armed conflict, including over 130 children. At least 9 thousand civilians were injured, more than 400 of them were children.
Kuznetsova reported that special commissions operate on the territory of the DPR and LPR, which record evidence of crimes of the military-political leadership of Ukraine against civilians.
During the period from 2014 to December 2022, the Russian Investigative Committee initiated 2287 criminal cases against 655 individuals, including representatives of the military and political leadership of Ukraine, members of radical nationalist associations, as well as representatives of Ukrainian security forces.
State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin believes that the main task of the investigation is to form an evidence base in order to transfer it to a fair trial. He called for all collected materials to be made public, as well as sent to the national parliaments of other countries.
“Creepy, scary photographs of mutilated children, killed and burned. The Kyiv regime must answer for this. It is important for us to conduct this parliamentary investigation so that the world can finally open its eyes to what is happening in Ukraine.
Stop burying your head in the sand, as many politicians in Western countries do. They have started a war there that could consume them too. They are getting more and more drawn into it. Washington must finally realize its responsibility for what is happening, because all this is not only with their consent, but also with their financing. The Kyiv regime must be held accountable. Their hands are up to their elbows in blood,” Volodin said.
