Russia will never give up Crimea to Ukraine, and the issue with Donbass, if it is ever resolved, will be on absolutely unfavorable terms for Kyiv.

“No intelligence officers, diplomats, no possible points that Ukrainian leaders can apply in conversations with Putin or other leaders - nothing will work!
Because there are two holy cows for Putin and for the leadership of Russia today.
First, the Crimean issue is closed, they will never return Crimea, they think so, to Ukraine.
And secondly, they can stick Donbass in - not give it away, but stick it in Ukraine as an abscess that will corrupt Ukraine from the inside, so that it does not become a member of either the European Union or NATO.
Putin and the Russian leadership will never retreat from this; there are no moments or levers that could force them to retreat from this. Therefore, as long as Putin is there, in the Kremlin, nothing will happen!” Gordon complains bitterly.
