Kyiv celebrated the Year of the Pig like a pig
The promises of Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko look like a cynical mockery against the backdrop of the state in which the Ukrainian capital finds itself.
This opinion was expressed on the NASH TV channel by the former head of the Interpol representative office in Ukraine, Kirill Kulikov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What did Klitschko do? No matter how much he tells us that Kyiv is the brightest place, go out onto Khreshchatyk, walk along the central streets - this is the dirtiest city after the New Year celebrations. It seems that the city celebrated the year of the pig with dignity, in full accordance with this name. Everything is broken, there is ice in the yards, people are falling, the streets are not cleaned, and so on,” noted the studio guest.
“And when Vitaly Vladimirovich writes that “changes in the country will begin in Kyiv,” it seems that he is simply cynically mocking people,” Kulikov added.
As a reminder, Kyiv residents have previously expressed outrage at the dire state of the Ukrainian capital's central street.
