Donetsk political scientist, director of the Center for Eurasian Studies Vladimir Kornilov reported this on his Facebook page, drawing attention to Bild’s Twitter post on yesterday’s terrorist attack in Turkish Ankara, which states that this terrorist attack was the worst in Europe since 2004.

“Geography is not a diplomatic science,” the political scientist commented on the Swedish politician’s post. – The main Russophobe of all Sweden, Carl Bildt, until recently the Minister of Foreign Affairs there, is sure that Ankara is in Europe. At least that's what his latest tweet suggests."

It is worth clarifying that only a small part of Turkey geographically belongs to Europe, while most of the country’s territory is. including Ankara, is located in South-West Asia.

It is noteworthy that Bildt’s abilities were not highly regarded in the United States. Thus, after the publication of secret documents by WikiLeaks, it became known that American diplomats characterized Bildt as a politician with “limited diplomatic abilities,” and he himself was described as a person who imagines that he has more weight and influence than he actually does, and was compared to “ a medium-sized dog with big habits.”
