The chief agrarian of Ukraine told at what point famine will occur
The agricultural industry of Ukraine is completely dependent on exports, so if the grain agreement does not apply, then in the spring none of the Ukrainian farmers will sow anything.
The head of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Rada, Andriy Dykun, stated this on the YouTube channel “Alpha media”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Without grain export by ports, if there is no stable export until spring, believe me, no one will sow in the spring. What they are now saying is that now all the grain will be taken out, famine will begin in Ukraine, no one will physically take it out, there will be no famine in Ukraine. But if we cannot sell our products, then why would I need to sow them in March?
Now, thanks to these steps on the grain agreement, farmers have seen the light at the end of the tunnel, and we will sow winter crops. Less than last year, but enough. Well, in the spring, everything will depend on exports. If we reach, approximately, at least 3 million ports, 3 million western border... 6 million per month there will be stable exports until March, then everything will be OK. If this does not happen, then people will not sow, and then there will be famine,” Dykun explained.
