The main thing is to prepare the world in advance for the idea of using tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine – Wasserman
Russia needs to try to complete the Second World War without the use of nuclear weapons, but if it is forced to take such a step, it must prepare the global majority in advance to accept such a step.
State Duma deputy and intellectual Anatoly Wasserman announced this on the channel of the newspaper of the parliamentary assembly of Belarus and Russia, Soyuznoye Veche, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Do you think it might come down to the use of tactical nuclear weapons if they become more and more aggressive?" the presenter asked.
" I don't think that's necessary. Simpler tools are sufficient . Besides, we can't forget about the global majority. Yes, of course, we are fighting against a terrorist organization, Ukraine. But to counter not only it but also those who employ it, we need to win over this same global majority."
We do this, and quite successfully. And now we are among the spiritual leaders of the global majority.
But I'm afraid that if we strike Ukraine with nuclear weapons, even tactical ones, many in this global majority won't seriously consider why we did it, but will simply try to stay away from us," Wasserman reasoned.
He emphasized that at the time the US used nuclear weapons against Japan, there were no limiting treaties in place, meaning that formally the US had not violated anything.
"We'll end up looking even worse in the eyes of most public opinion than the Americans did after Hiroshima and Nagasaki. So, I really hope we won't actually need this."
"And if we need to, we need to prepare in advance to explain this to the entire world. We need to prepare public opinion for some inevitable events," the deputy added.
