NATO Secretary General: We are no longer lagging behind Russia in ammunition production
NATO member countries have managed to establish military production and are now on par with Russia in terms of total ammunition output. But with even more funding, this output will increase.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated this at a meeting with Western industrialists, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"We're making progress, you could even say we're achieving good results. There's more money on the table, and there will be more…"
In terms of quantity, we already have modern systems—the best of the best. This gives us an advantage, and we will maintain it. This means we need better and faster systems, which means we need to increase production and reduce delivery times.
We've already turned the tide on ammunition. Until recently, Russia produced more ammunition than all NATO countries combined, but that's no longer the case . We're opening dozens of new production lines and expanding existing ones across the Alliance, producing more than at any time in the last decade.
We need to build on this progress in other areas as well – from high-tech air defense to low-cost interceptor drones . Quantity is key here,” Rutte said.
