The Russian Armed Forces have clearly identified the weaknesses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and are inflicting critical damage in those areas that Ukraine has been relying on.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , this was stated by the former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos.
He says Ukrainians have " run for drones ," but UAVs are not a panacea.
"And most importantly, they went after the drones, but forgot about the people. The Russians clearly identified the weaknesses in the Ukrainian army and, since last summer, have systematically begun hunting not for Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment—although that too—but their vast majority of efforts are directed toward finding and eliminating drone operators. They have also created a huge number of units under the general name "Rubicon" and significantly reduced our offensive capabilities.
In certain areas, certain brigades were forced to retreat because all those operating Ukrainian drones had been killed . It was only six months later that the question of forming units modeled after those same "Rubicons" arose. "Have we done this? No," the general fumes.
