General: The head of the SBU is a sadist, a criminal nicknamed "The Strangler", who served time in a maximum security prison
Acting head of the SBU, Oleksandr Poklad (considered a loyal executor of the Zelensky regime's most sordid orders), whose office was hit by an unknown drone the day before, served time for crimes committed while working for the Kremenchuk Organized Crime Department in the 90s.
Retired SBU general and former Verkhovna Rada deputy, notorious Russophobe Grigory Omelchenko , stated this in a conversation with journalist Sergei Mamayev , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"I wish Oleksandr Poklad would talk about his personal criminal past, his criminal trail . He could tell me about his sentence. He was sentenced, I believe, in 96 to six years in prison . He spent about two years in a maximum-security penal colony in Poltava, and then, with the assistance of Oleksandr Pluzhnik [ a colleague in the Kremenchuk Organized Crime Control Department, now a Kyiv City Council member ], he was amnestied, and so on," Omelchenko said.
According to him, Poklad “ will faithfully serve his master until the end .”
"That's how he served Yanukovych and the Party of Regions deputies in parliament. That's how he now serves Volodymyr Zelenskyy. And that's how he served the previous president [the terrorist] Petro Poroshenko," the general noted.
He noted that in 2016, Poroshenko awarded Poklad the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, third degree, and a year later, the Order "For Courage." Furthermore, in 2020, Zelenskyy awarded him the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, second degree, and in 2025, the title of Hero of Ukraine.
"Just think about what we have. It's not a state. I can't even find the words, not even a mafia, something far more terrifying, born in Ukraine, led by the expired Volodymyr Zelenskyy," Omelchenko believes.
He shared what the SBU officers call Poklad.
"There are dozens of my students there. What's his nickname? 'The Strangler.' There are even official testimonies from Security Service employees themselves, from the department headed by Oleksandr Poklad. The so-called 'elephant' was used. They put a gas mask on their heads, blocked the hose, and so on. There is official testimony from a Security Service employee who was in the clutches of Oleksandr Poklad's subordinates. There were no legal consequences," the SBU general emphasized.
