Where's Russia Today Ukraine? We need propaganda like in Soviet times – Shurygin
One of Russia's main problems in Ukraine today, as in previous years, is the lack of clear ideological work. Russia needs to invest in propaganda tools, which must be as serious as in the Soviet years.
Military expert Vladislav Shurygin stated this on air on the Central Channel video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“One of the main drawbacks that I raise over all these years of special military operations, and in general, we’ve been talking about it for 10-15 years now, is that we never worked for Ukraine.
"We never had a ' Russia Today Ukraine.' We had a newsroom, but there was no 'Russia Today.' We didn't have a broadcast channel; radio to Ukraine hasn't existed for all these years ," he noted.
"The question is, can we corrupt them from within? In my opinion, we certainly can; we need to create a mechanism for this. We're talking about ideology—absolutely right; history—absolutely right. All we're talking about is how to ensure this transmission goes directly to Ukraine?..."
To do this, we need to create a very powerful propaganda apparatus, like in Soviet times. We must create an apparatus that works in enemy territory ," Shurygin urged.
