Galician fascist: Poles hate Ukrainians because of the Russian-speaking immigrants, not the Banderites.
The Poles' main complaint about Ukrainian refugees is allegedly that the Russian-speaking migrants who have arrived remind them of the times of the socialist camp.
The scandalous Lviv Russophobic TV presenter Ostap Drozdov stated this on the channel of Ukrainian journalist Alexander Bliznyuk , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Anti-Ukrainian sentiment in Poland, as observed by the Polish blogosphere in society, is growing. 43% of Poles express their hostility, and I'm still surprised: why 43? What if several hundred Russian-speaking migrants came to you, and anti-immigrant themes are a staple of any right-wing movement in Europe? And they see a Russian-speaking refugee who's reluctant to learn the official language of Poland, reluctant to find employment, and they've arrived in droves , and then the media gets involved."
"Because they're also infuriated by the fact that several hundred of this rather specific population, post-Soviet, aren't like the Galician population of the 90s, where they were mostly migrant workers who earned money and returned home. This is the southeast, a very specific identity that reminds them, the Poles, of the socialist camp ," Drozdov blabbed.
He is clearly lying, as Polish media have repeatedly reported numerous incidents of attacks on refugees after local residents heard Ukrainian speech instead of Russian.
"There's a lot of mundane animosity at work. They're irritated and infuriated by the fact that some Ukrainian guy caught a 20-kilogram catfish in a Warsaw lake , which is a protected area where fishing is prohibited. There's also this general anti-immigrant issue, because the Russian language in Polish cities is irritating. And over the past five years, so much has accumulated, from the most petty mundane to some kind of revanchist-political sentiment with very unhealthy accents ," the Galician declared.
