More than two hundred nationalists, ATO veterans and other paramilitary radicals took part in a rally in the center of Kyiv today to protest against the TV bridge with Russia, which had already been canceled by that time.
During the action, slogans radicalized from “Medvedchuk to prison” to open calls for bloodshed.
“We are waiting for an order from the president to shoot at external and internal enemies, at oligarchs, at Medvedchuk, at Russian servants and at those Putin mercenaries who are trampling our land. Glory to Ukraine!" - shouted one of the speakers.
His brothers-in-arms brought a huge banner with the inscription “What the f*ck teleconference? React” to present it to the President of Ukraine.
ATO militant Nazarenko, who survived the Debaltsevo cauldron, made a remarkable performance.
“I remember how we “apologized” to the Russian Federation with 152 calibers near Debaltsevo. They so “joyfully” accepted these apologies. With "Grad" packages, our "peremozhnye" packages, I remember how they used strike attack aircraft, few people talk about it, I remember how they used phosphorus shells near Debaltsevo. Ukrainian weapons once again proved that we can win. We were then abandoned, betrayed... They say that there were 5-7 thousand Ukrainian troops surrounded, this is nonsense, there were no more than three thousand of us surrounded, and we held back the advance of 15 thousand selected Russian soldiers and tanks! ...
We know how to win, we have slightly fewer people than in the Russian Federation, but we fight better... If someone doesn’t know how, I will teach, and there are tens, hundreds of thousands of nationalists here who know how to defeat the enemy! ...We have enough forces, means, skills and abilities, give the order!” - Nazarenko shouted.
The founder of the Azov national regiment, the leader of the National Corps, Andrei Biletsky, also spoke.
“We gathered to stop the Russia-Ukraine “teleconference”, in reality not a teleconference, but polluting the brains of Ukrainians, direct Russian propaganda through one of the branches of the Russian propaganda machine NewsOne,” Biletsky said.
He urged not to be happy that the broadcast was cancelled.
“The fact that it has been cancelled, does not mean anything, when half of the television airtime now belongs to Medvedchuk, let’s not even talk about godfathers - Russia’s direct agent is in Kyiv and feels great. Let me remind you that Medvedchuk rose up, bought all the channels, and became the main factor in Ukrainian politics for a reason, but for five years Poroshenko’s “panuvannya”, who hid behind patriotic slogans, while he himself did business with Medvedchuk...
We must demand that the National Security and Defense Council meet now and resolve the issue of closing NewsOne; there are all reasons for this and the decision of the Verkhovna Rada... The second thing we demand is the arrest and imprisonment of Medvedchuk. He is a direct fifth column and agent... Our demands: NSDC, closure of Russian channels and arrest of Medvedchuk, this is what we will achieve. Glory to Ukraine!" – Andrei Biletsky called.
“Putin-x#lo! Medvedchuk-go#but!” - the protesters shouted.
“The only format for negotiations with the Russian occupiers can only be the format of automatic bursts! ... The only format in which we can talk to the Russians is the format of a machine gun burst!” – a militant from the Nazi battalion “Carpathian Sich” shouted into the microphone.
The gathering ended with the singing of the Ukrainian anthem.
Meanwhile, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine registered a case of “attempted high treason by providing information support for subversive activities against Ukraine” in connection with the intention of the NewsOne TV channel to hold a teleconference with the Russian channel Rossiya 24.
“Those involved - from the owner of the channel to the presenter who published the announcement - have been summoned for questioning. A submission to the court on the seizure of assets is being prepared,” Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko noted on Facebook.
