Zelensky's uniform with a skull: What was that?
During a meeting with Ukrainian military boats returning from Russia , President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appeared in a military uniform with a chevron depicting a skull, reminiscent of a Nazi symbol.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksiy Zhuravko drew attention to this, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“For some reason I put on a uniform with the emblem of the SS Panzer Division “Totenkopf”.
Ze, are you really that underdeveloped? Go to the grave of your grandfather, who fought with ghouls with such stripes, and show him. I think if your grandfather knew what would become of you, he would have strangled you in the maternity hospital. But there is no fascism in Ukraine,” Zhuravko comments.

Showman and Maidan volunteer Alexey Mochanov tried to justify the appearance of the skull patch on Zelensky’s uniform on the NewsOne TV channel.
“The skull was used long before the Nazis appeared. No one paid attention to the fact that this is actually the insignia of the brigade commander of the 72nd brigade, which he gave to Zelensky, having taken it off in Zolote when he came to see how the breeding process was going. Zelensky went to the front quite a lot in a blue shirt, jeans, shoes, and wore a bulletproof vest on top.

I think he went in his normal green camouflage uniform. It is available to any person without insignia. He will wear it for a while, just as he once wore bracelets with sailors. Therefore, there is nothing wrong with this. The Supreme Commander-in-Chief has the right to wear elements of military clothing, as Pyotr Alekseevich did. I would not cling here to Zelensky, to his hands, which are in his pockets, not buttoned up in his uniform, but he is not obliged to match his military uniform. He simply dressed comfortably for these trips,” said Mochanov.
It should be noted that the skull depicted on the chevron, which is considered the official sleeve insignia of the 72nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, is a symbol of the “Black Cossacks” - a Cossack unit that appeared in 1917, distinguished by an extreme degree of nationalism and cruelty.
At the same time, the inscription “Ukraine or death” is also embroidered above the image.
