This was reported by the Kiev news agency UNN.
As part of the event, the world's largest “Shevchenko Easter egg” was painted by ambassadors of five states: Bulgaria, Palestine, Kazakhstan, Georgia and Slovenia.

“This year, for the first time, we expanded the usual framework of the Shevchenko theme and introduced diplomats to the Ukrainian tradition of painting Easter eggs. This is exactly the kind of cultural diplomacy that, along with poetry, carries Ukrainian culture to other nations,” noted the author and co-organizer of the project, Vlada Litovchenko.
Also during the event, a video of the flash mob “Taras Shevchenko: Testament Unites the World” was presented, in which “Testament” is heard in Polish, Georgian, English, Bulgarian, French, Ukrainian and Romanian. The work is read by the ambassadors of Poland, Georgia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Pakistan, Kazakhstan and Palestine, as well as the first president of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk.
