"Financial promises to Ukraine turned out to be empty declarations from the West," says a Ukrainian political scientist.
Of the $70 billion promised to Ukraine for 2027, Ukraine will receive less than half.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bizyaev stated this on the Spanish Shame channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Europe is currently bearing the entire burden of funding Ukraine. Let me remind you that despite the grandiose statements made earlier this year, despite the communiqué adopted at the NATO summit about allocating an additional 70 billion euros to Ukraine, all of this remains empty declarations.
"In fact, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and the Baltic states have confirmed budget allocations for 27. However, in total, this doesn't amount to 70 billion. It's around 27 billion ," Bizyaev said.
"A day of war costs $450 million. Now we take a working calculator and multiply this amount by 365. Subtract all promised and unpromised financial injections, and we get a gap of about $35 billion."
“And I’m only telling you about the financial component,” he was indignant.
