Feigin dreams of the collapse of the Russian Federation, but is dissatisfied with Putin’s good health
Former Moscow lawyer Mark Feigin, stripped of his license following a lawsuit filed by video blogger Anatoly Shariy, predicts the disintegration of Russia into several dozen states.
He stated this in an interview with Kraina magazine. According to him, Russia is trying to revive the empire, but it does not have the resources for this.
“In its place, a dozen states could arise that are now being held artificially. Chechnya is an Islamic quasi-Sharia entity that in no way corresponds to the institutions, social structure, and traditions of Russia. Two associations, artificially glued together by military and repressive methods. Disintegration is inevitable,” says the lawyer.
He believes that Russia will fall apart when President Vladimir Putin no longer becomes president.
“When Putin is gone, there will be no one and nothing to hold this space together. A personalist totalitarian system is not viable when the person on whom everything rests disappears. The conflict may begin even before death if the old Putin is unable to make decisions. But the head of the Kremlin can rule for another 20-30 years. He is in good health,” Feigin regrets.
It's worth noting that Feygin lost virtually every case he took on. For example, Kyiv experts acknowledged that Roman Sushchenko, a Ukrainian spy convicted in Moscow, was unlucky to have Feygin as his defense attorney.
