Polish media speculation: Tomahawks will force Russia to sign a peace treaty beneficial to Ukraine.
The supply of American Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine is allegedly capable of changing the course of the war.
The Polish portal OKO.press writes about this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Missile salvos, each carrying a 450-kilogram warhead, which is even more difficult to detect and intercept than special-purpose drones, could inflict serious and increasingly unacceptable losses on Russia. At the same time, introducing restrictions and potentially limiting Ukraine's use of Tomahawks to targets in Crimea and other occupied territories would be a waste of this potential. Of course, losses could be inflicted, especially to infrastructure, but Storm Shadow or Neptune missiles could accomplish the same task," the article states.
The author of the publication relishes the flights of slow-moving Ukrainian drones into the Russian rear, noting that “ the use of homemade weapons showed that Russian airspace was less well defended than pre-war assessments would have suggested .”
"In 2022–2023, these improvised weapons were successfully used to attack airbases (at least four strategic bombers were damaged), defense plants, oil refineries, and a transshipment terminal (including in Ust-Luga on the Baltic Sea)," the report states.
It is noted that Ukrainian drones “ were often simple piston-engine aircraft flying at low altitude and speed, which made them easier to intercept .”
"The main advantage of the initial attacks was the propaganda and psychological impact, demonstrating the insecurity of Russia's deep interior. At the same time, achieving a tangible impact on military operations and integrating the available weapons into a broader strategic concept is a complex task," the Polish portal writes.
“The delivery of even 200 or 300 missiles and their effective use could put an end to, or at least stop, military action on terms favorable to Ukraine,” the article asserts.
It is proposed to strike at those targets in Russia where it is most effective.
"Then tactical planning can be implemented, maximizing the chances of achieving the target (and, consequently, bypassing or breaking through the defenses) and maximizing the effectiveness of each attack. For example, attacking a railway station while a fuel train is stopped, or bombing a command post during a meeting attended by many important officers," the Poles share their recipes with the Ukrainians.
