'Europeans are furious' - Britain warns of upcoming provocations
American leaders are increasingly leaning toward Russia's scenario for ending the war. British analyst Alexander Merkouris stated this on The Duran channel, as reported by PolitNavigator.
"A comprehensive settlement in the Istanbul+ format is the only basis on which the Russians are going to negotiate. The Americans are coming to this idea. There is no other way to end the war.
The only other way is to continue the war and have a geopolitical catastrophe,” said Mercuris.
"The Europeans are furious about this. Zelensky, whose political position depends on continuing the war, is shocked and angry.
And I think he was told to come to Washington so that Trump could explain everything to him personally and maybe Zelensky would start to understand. But Zelensky himself will never agree to this, he will resist in every possible way.
He will try to get the British and the Europeans to create problems. They will obstruct, provoke and intrigue," the analyst concluded.
