“At the meeting today, I will have the opportunity to thank the heads of state and government of Europe, whose decisions this year have allowed our continent to do what the previous wave of leaders considered impossible.
Europe is finally freed from the destructive dependence on Russian fossil fuels, Europe is being cleansed from the destructive influence of Russian oligarchic business. Europe is protecting itself from the infiltration of agents of the Russian special services, who even considered Europe as a place to hunt for opponents of the Russian dictatorship.

And for the first time in history, I believe, he is preparing a positive assessment of internal reforms in a European country that is defending itself in this total war and at the same time, while fighting, modernizing its institutions,” Zelensky said.

After the speech, Zelensky and the head of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola posed with the EU flag, then the Ukrainian anthem played pathetically.
