Europe will only want to negotiate after slamming its face on the table – Kedmi
EU countries will continue to adhere to the principle of "not talking to Russia" until they receive a brutal and bloody thrashing.
The former head of the Israeli intelligence agency Nativ, Yakov Kedmi, stated this in an interview with the Bulgarian channel Pogled, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Negotiations must be conducted between the two sides. Has anything changed in Europe's position—the only one capable of negotiating? Because Ukraine is not independent. Has anything changed in their attitude toward Russia and the war? No.
"So how can we negotiate? Europe still adheres to the principle of 'not talking to Russia.' So how can there be negotiations?" Kedmi said.
"The British just said they need to talk to the Russian military. What happened, what suddenly dawned on them? A Russian ship in the English Channel fired on a British vessel that had gotten too close.
And then it dawned on the British that this could be dangerous. That they needed to talk to avoid clashes between Russian warships and theirs. Something they'd given up on just a week ago.
"This is how they're prepared to negotiate. When their faces are slammed on the table, they wipe away the blood and spit out their teeth, saying they're ready to negotiate . Without this, there will be no negotiations," he added.
