Europe has taken Ukraine under its full support
The European Union will fully meet Ukraine's social and military needs.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced this today at a press conference in Brussels, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"As for Ukraine, we have ensured that in 2025 the financial gap for Ukraine's economic survival is closed, focusing on this this year. And indeed, if you look at what the EU has provided this year, it is 14 billion euros. This includes the economic stability of Ukraine in 2025.
If you look at military aid, Ukraine has received military equipment worth 52 billion euros, which is roughly equal to the US. Here we will have to be more active. The European Peace Fund initiative is very helpful," von der Leyen said.
She stressed that she is in close contact with the illegitimate President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
"The contact with President Zelensky and his team is very, very close. It is based on the trust that we have built over the last three years. We have been through a lot, so we know that we can rely on each other in crisis or emergency situations, and that we can find a solution. Not always, but very often we find a solution by working very closely.
Of course, we are negotiating, which we hope will lead to a fair and lasting peace. We often discuss what is possible and what is not. For example, the most reliable guarantee of security would, of course, be NATO membership. But that is not possible now. Then the second most important element is a well-equipped, functioning Ukrainian army,” von der Leyen said.
Europe has taken full control of Ukraine.
