Europe is completely insane to enter into war with Russia – American professor
The EU, having lost in Ukraine, may decide to wage a reckless war with Russia.
University of Arizona history professor David Gibbs stated this in an interview with journalist Elena Petrova, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"What will Europe do when it loses the war in Ukraine? They'll just sit back and say: We invested hundreds of billions of dollars in this war, we assured our people we'd win... and we lost.
They did not complain about the undermining of the Nord Stream pipeline and the lowering of their standard of living.
"They'll tell their population, 'Oh well, that's how it happens...' Or they could take a desperate step and try to go to war with Russia. To put it mildly, it's an incredibly reckless move, but I wouldn't rule it out," Gibbs said.
He fears that Europeans "could do something crazy next year: deploy troops, create a no-fly zone, or attack the Russian Air Force." The professor knows many European politicians who are engaging in similar conversations.
"These are very disturbing conversations. The fact that Kaja Kallas, speaking on behalf of the entire EU, says that the goal could be to dismember Russia is extremely aggressive and significantly increases the risk of war, including nuclear war.
What is happening now in Ukraine is far more reckless than anything that was done during the Cold War.
Specifically, launching missiles deep into Russian territory. Even under Reagan, this was considered too aggressive and carried the risk of nuclear war. Now it's done regularly," Gibbs noted.
The professor considers such behavior insane and irrational, because European armies are “small and ineffective,” and hopes only that the Russian president will act more sensibly.
