The European contingent will not fight for us, send NATO specialists – the Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander
A European contingent in Ukraine is pointless for the front and expensive, so it would be better if NATO countries sent more specific military specialists according to an already established scheme.
The commander of the unmanned systems platoon of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Tudvasev, announced this on the UkrLife channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"There is such an opinion among the military - for example, now, when military actions are going on, there is no point in this at all. We understand perfectly well that they will not fight for us. Moreover, are they ready for a modern war? I think not.
"Furthermore, if we deploy them here in Ukraine, the costs of their deployment and everything else would be much higher than the deployment of similar Ukrainian contingents. And this money in the budgets of countries would go under the item of assistance to Ukraine. That is, much more money would be spent on something that will not bring us any help at the front," Tudvasev reasoned.
"If we are talking about NATO specialists, then we really need specialists. Specialists who can work on modern air defense systems - on Patriots, on Irises. We even need F-16 pilots.
But this can be resolved within the framework of Ukrainian legislation through contracts. As individuals, they can enter into contracts, as is already the case in many structures. And foreigners can fight on our side, just like our military,” the Ukrainian Armed Forces officer admitted.
