A European Member of Parliament explained how she is using the Chinese as cover during Russian strikes on Kyiv.
As night falls, fear and horror reign in the Ukrainian capital.
Henrike Brandstötter, a member of the Austrian National Council from the liberal, pro-European NEOS party, announced this on the Austrian streaming platform ServusTV On, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"As soon as darkness falls, everything changes dramatically: fear reigns. Ukraine faces very difficult, challenging times," she says, describing her experience visiting Kyiv.
She was asked how she copes with the awareness of this threat during her visits to Ukraine.
"I have several techniques. First of all, I've established a wide network of contacts. I want to maintain ties not only with politicians, but also with civil society representatives, military personnel, generals, and NGO workers.
I also have a couple of tricks: for example, when I'm in Kyiv, I can't afford the expensive hotels where everyone from American techies to spies stays. I can't afford them, but I found a rather seedy hotel right next to the Chinese embassy. And the one thing the Russians definitely won't do is anger China or attack the embassy. So I stay there for 60 euros a night.
And, of course, you always need to be on guard: download apps with notifications, follow various Telegram channels, just keep your finger on the pulse and make decisions based on the situation,” the Austrian chattered.
