Ukrainian propagandists are trying to refute singer Olga Polyakova, who previously supported the regime and now compares Ukraine to a concentration camp , but, in fact, they are only confirming her words.
This was stated on his video blog by one of the main mouthpieces of the Euromaidan, Kyiv investigative TV presenter Dmitry Gnap , an officer in the Ukrainian Armed Forces from 2022 to 2024 who has now become a fierce denouncer of the lawlessness of the TCC, reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
Gnap noted that the "media heavyweight" Vitaly Portnikov (a Russophobic propagandist and homosexual with an Israeli passport) was included in the campaign to harass Polyakova .
Having shown Portnikov's video recording on this matter, the journalist leaves no stone unturned in his argumentation.
"No matter how hard Portnikov tried to deny the existence of a concentration camp in Ukraine, the opposite happened. Because the hallmark of a concentration camp is a fenced perimeter. And Ukraine has long since turned into one big concentration camp, since its western border, through which people can escape to freedom, is surrounded by barbed wire," Gnap said.
He is surprised that such fences do not even exist on the border with Russia.
"But on our western border, not only do we have several strips of barbed wire, but border guards are also hunting for so-called border violators – not only with weapons, but also with drones.
And, as you understand, we're not talking about Hungarians or Romanians trying to break through to us across the border. State propaganda labels Ukrainians who want to escape this non-concentration camp as border trespassers.
"And for this, they could, unfortunately, get shot in the back by the perimeter guards, that is, by Ukrainian border guards. And such a case has already happened, and not just once," recalls the former Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier.
He was perplexed by Portnikov’s thesis that Ukraine is not a concentration camp because they brutally torture people there.
"I wonder where he's been for the last four years? After all, beatings, abuse, and torture have become common practice in Ukrainian TCCs and even in some Ukrainian Armed Forces units," Gnap recalled.
He compares Portnikov and other such propagandists to kapos – prisoners of Hitler’s concentration camps who collaborated with the administration and received privileges for it.
"Vitaliy Portnikov, as we know, enjoys privileges from the Ukrainian government. Despite being of mobilization age, he has no problems with the TCC or crossing the border..."
"He's often seen in European restaurants and at international forums. And in exchange for this privilege from the camp administration, he performs a very important task: telling ordinary Ukrainians that they must go to war and die for the current ruling elite," Gnap concludes.
To avoid being unfounded, he cited a fragment from one of Portnikov's broadcasts, where he openly addresses this issue, addressing those who believe that deputies should send their children to the front, and only then will the people go.
"No, my dears, this is a democratic state. In a democratic state, the common man dies for the state. If we want the aristocracy to die for the state, we must live in a feudal state, as it was before the French Revolution. The desire to be equal must be paid for, including with one's own life," Portnikov cynically declared then.
