There's supposedly an unspoken agreement between Ukraine and Russia not to attack bridges. Therefore, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are not making any further attempts to destroy the Crimean Bridge, and Russia is preserving the integrity of Ukraine's bridges across the Dnieper.
Ukrainian military analyst and former functionary of the neo-Nazi Svoboda party, banned in Russia , Dmitry Snegirev , stated this on the Dnipro TV channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"At the moment, we are at least adhering to, as I understand it, certain agreements regarding not attacking infrastructure facilities. We are talking about the Crimean Bridge.
I brought this up to avoid further cries of " Why is the Crimean Bridge still standing?" Because the bridges across the Dnieper are also standing.
Therefore, if respected Ukrainians talk about the lack of communication with the occupying country, this is absolutely not true.
"Certain agreements exist regarding non-attacks on infrastructure facilities, primarily bridges. This, to a certain extent, makes the scenario of the destruction of the Crimean Bridge and retaliatory strikes by the occupying power on infrastructure facilities across the Dnieper River impossible ," Snegirev asserts.
Even if we accept the existence of such an agreement as the Nazi speaks of, the question arises: why, after at least three publicly known attempts to blow up the Crimean Bridge, has not a single bridge across the Dnieper been demolished?
