As Ukrainian resources become depleted, the Russian army will advance faster and faster.
British analyst Alexander Merkuris stated this on the video blog "The Duran," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Resource depletion is a non-linear process. I think one of the biggest mistakes many people make is thinking that because the Russians are slowly advancing in Donbas, they will advance just as slowly throughout Ukraine.
"In fact, resource depletion depends on their quantity. The Ukrainians had the resources to hold off the Russians in Donbas and eastern Ukraine. But after a certain point, the more territory they lose, the more critical the situation becomes, and the faster collapse occurs ," Merkuris noted.
"The depletion of resources is accelerating, making defense increasingly difficult. Last week, reports emerged of significant Russian advances in eastern Ukraine. The Russians are advancing further both in the eastern Zaporizhia region and in the west.
But this is only one front. The Russians are attacking simultaneously on all fronts," he added.
