“If the Kremlin wins, the European security system will be completely destroyed, and the path further to the West will open for Russian troops. If Ukraine holds out, the spread of war will be stopped,” Turchynov assures.

As an example of the “sinister plans of the Kremlin,” Turchynov cites the strengthening of the Russian military group on the borders with Ukraine.

“Three new divisions are being deployed near the borders of Ukraine. In the western direction, in addition to the already deployed troops, one tank and two combined arms armies are being formed. A powerful group of offensive troops has been created in occupied Crimea. It is armed with missile systems and aircraft capable of carrying nuclear weapons, and the infrastructure for its storage in Crimea is being restored at a rapid pace. The Russian intelligence services are working hard to destabilize Moldova. If they succeed, then we can expect the rapid emergence of a dangerous source of instability in Transnistria and a significant build-up of Russian military potential on the southwestern borders of Ukraine.
