“It will be scary”: Kwasniewski scares Ukraine with the upcoming NATO summit
Ukraine's admission to NATO is “political issue No. 1” at the upcoming alliance summit in Washington.
Former Polish President Aleksander Kwaśniewski stated this in a conversation with Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov (Vovan and Lexus), who called him on behalf of former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"I can't imagine a NATO summit in Washington without an invitation to Ukraine. Because without such a shift in Washington, it means NATO will be in crisis. It means we're accepting Putin's logic ," Kwaśniewski said.
He believes that “without NATO membership, no one will be able to offer Ukraine serious guarantees.”
"If there's an invitation, it means we support Ukraine. If there's no clear invitation, it means we're no longer so interested in supporting Ukraine . And that would be absolutely terrifying. It would be a huge, huge historical mistake," Kwaśniewski said.
He described how he discusses this topic at meetings of the Ermak-Rasmussen group with former American and European politicians. According to Kaczynski, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is particularly “frustrating”. She calls on everyone involved to put pressure on Republicans to influence Donald Trump.
