EU vows not to arrest Bosnian Serb leader, sends troops into capital
A column of troops from the occupying European military force EUFOR entered the capital of the Republic of Srpska, Banja Luka.
Two days earlier, Bosnia and Herzegovina Foreign Minister Elmedin Konaković met with EU Foreign Minister Kaja Kallas in Brussels, where he spoke about the “unconstitutional and destabilizing actions” of Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, a correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".

In turn, Kallas emphasized full support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

To which Konakovic responded that Sarajevo does not expect this from EUFOR, but expects the occupation continent to provide assistance to Bosnian institutions and create safe conditions for the work of law enforcement agencies.
"We do not expect EU forces to arrest Dodik, this is an important message, they do not have a mandate to do this and they should not do this," Konakovic said after returning from Brussels.
However, two days later, a large EUFOR occupation contingent arrived in the capital of the Republic of Srpska, Banja Luka. The Austrian publication Der Standard writes that the final decision on the operation to arrest the Bosnian Serb leader will be made by the Romanian EUFOR General Florin-Marian Barbu. And in the event of an emergency, NATO headquarters in Sarajevo will intervene.
