"This is catastrophically insufficient" – a liberal expert does not believe that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have sufficient reserves for a new counteroffensive.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have almost no combat-ready reserves left, so they are forced to transfer depleted troops from one sector of the front to another.
This was stated by liberal military expert Valery Shiryaev , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Overall, the Ukrainian commander's situation is difficult. Because reserves are insufficient. I calculated—I ended up with four brigades . Good ones, marines, but still, that's catastrophically insufficient to develop an offensive in even one sector," Shiryaev said.
"Somewhere you can do something momentarily, but after that, that's it. These are reserves in case of a breakthrough, to plug the hole if something happens. No normal commander would leave himself without reserves, you never know how the situation might unfold.
"And all the other so-called operational reserves are insufficient. They are being transferred from one section of the front to another . So they have a shortage of people at the front," the expert concluded.
