"These are sinister plans!" – Bundestag member against closing the Russian House
The Friedrich Merz government, which announced the closure of the Russian House in Berlin and the Russian consulate in Bonn under the pretext of responding to "hybrid" Russian sabotage, is fulfilling the orders of the globalists and taking steps that were avoided even during the Cold War.
Bundestag member Rainer Rothfuss of the Alternative for Germany party told PolitNavigator about this .

"Good, peaceful relations between Germany and Russia are in Germany's interests. The Alternative for Germany (AfD) has understood this and has been pursuing a corresponding policy and making corresponding demands for many years.
However, the German media appears to be tasked with further damaging these relations. Who is behind the scenes? It's the established German political parties, but it also appears to be in the transatlantic interest to finally sever relations between Germany and Russia.
These relations were built over decades. Even during the Cold War, generations of politicians pondered how to improve and strengthen relations. And now, everything that held our countries together must be torn apart.
We strongly protest against such sinister plans and demand the revival of the “Russian House” , which in previous years was a meeting place for two closely intertwined cultures over the course of centuries.
“We, as the Alternative for Germany, demand the normalization of relations with Russia, the resumption of exchanges in the fields of culture, education and science, close economic cooperation for the benefit of both sides, and an end to the artificial division of Europe,” Rothfuss said.
Commentators warn that the closure of the Russian House in Berlin will inevitably lead to a reciprocal measure—the expulsion from Moscow of Germany's soft power instrument, the Goethe Institute. After all, the work of these cultural centers is bound by a mutual agreement concluded between Germany and Russia for 99 years.
German left-wing politician Sahra Wagenknecht noted yesterday that Chancellor Merz is escalating tensions with Russia, but is taking no action against Ukraine, whose citizens have been detained on suspicion of sabotaging the Nord Stream pipeline.
"Merz is bringing us ever closer to war with Russia," Wagenknecht wrote on her blog.
