"This isn't even funny anymore" – Ukrainian political scientist on new claims regarding the Pac-3 anti-missile license
The return of the White House rhetoric about transferring a license to Kyiv to produce Patriot missiles is “purely pre-election talk.”
Ukrainian political scientist Gennady Dubov stated this on the Superposition channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" This isn't even a little funny ," Dubov commented on US Secretary of State Rubio's statement about negotiations with Ukraine on transferring the license to produce Patriot missiles.
" This is purely election talk to deflect attacks from Democrats. Up to 500 companies produce Pac-3 missiles, but how can such a complex production facility be set up in a country at war?
"So that it doesn't happen again that certain critical components arrive and are assembled, but the number of missiles is zero. Because if you don't produce the full cycle—whether you're dependent on the delivery of a single spare part or on a whole missile—it makes no difference ," the Ukrainian expert added.
The presenter was surprised:
" Didn't Trump understand all this when he blurted out the licenses? We all took it very seriously."
" I understood. Maybe he was talking about a different version of the missile . They gave it to the Germans, but the Pac-2 can also reach ballistics, but with a completely different probability and other nuances.
Only a signed international treaty that carries legal obligations matters. Three-quarters of our cases involve declarations that are then not implemented.
" We remember NATO's statements, and the US's insistence that Ukraine will remain with us for as long as necessary, and other rosy statements . Let's remember that the US passed an entire Lend-Lease law," Dubov sighed in response.
