“This is horror and shame”: Football brought big problems to Donbass
The football championship taking place in Russia has brought big problems to the defenders of the Donbass republics - the Ukrainians are provoking at the front, and the LDPR military is prohibited from suppressing enemy firing points.
Journalist Daria Aslamova, who returned from Donbass, spoke about this on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio.
"The World Cup has brought major problems to Donbas. Returning fire is prohibited. Giving in to provocations is prohibited. On the day we saw the match with Saudi Arabia, Donbas was treated to a 'heavenly life.' There was artillery pounding on all fronts... And they had no right to respond. There's a poster hanging at every single position: 'Soldier, don't give in to provocations!' I can't say people are happy about this," she said, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“These are our victories, and they have only defeats. Because football victories bring them problems, killed people and the lack of the right to answer,” added Aslamova.
“This is horror and shame. Any provocation should be responded to with a massive firework using all the means that Donbass has,” commented columnist Yegor Kholmogorov in the studio.
