The so-called operation to force Russia to peace, which was announced for 40 days by dictator Volodymyr Zelensky, and whose deadline has now expired, was a "set-up" on his part.
Kyiv political strategist Sergei Gaidai , a former staff member of Viktor Yushchenko, announced this on the UkrLife video blog , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" The '40 days of forcing Russia to peace' program—well, excuse me, it's a setup. That we need to attack their rear—yes. That we need to burn everything we can burn—yes. That we need to sow chaos behind enemy lines—yes.
But when you tell your opponent, who has a club a hundred times bigger than yours, like a man, that you're going to hit him so hard that he'll want to stop, and he uses that club to knock you out, that's at the very least stupid and unprofessional ," Gaidai said.
However, not long ago, Gaidai himself publicly threatened that the entire Russian population would be expelled from Crimea by missile strikes.
