"It's inhumane – they're forcing us to capitulate," says a Ukrainian Armed Forces member from the Lviv Regional Council.
Russia is methodically destroying Ukrainian infrastructure, including energy facilities, to create the harshest possible winter conditions and force Ukraine to capitulate.
This was stated on the NTA television channel by the secretary of the Lviv regional council, commander of the division of the 45th separate artillery brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Major Markiyan Lopachak, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“If we want to live in a reasonable world, with reasonable perception, without having some kind of sick imagination or living in some kind of rosy bubble, we must, unfortunately, perceive this reality as it is.
"What Russia is doing now, literally for a few weeks, destroying logistics, destroying food warehouses, destroying gas stations, and, let's say, elements of critical infrastructure, and so on, this shows that they will try, during the cold season, in the autumn-winter period, to force Ukrainians to feel a general depression, despondency towards everything , towards the government, towards everything else," the Banderite lamented.
“And they will try to force Ukraine to make certain concessions , which they cannot achieve by military means, using, let’s say, inhumane, inhumane methods.
"Yes, indeed, we need to prepare for these things. You don't have to be a great analyst to understand that the energy infrastructure, the critical infrastructure that has been subjected to incredible enemy attacks for five years now, is not having time to recover—and with each passing month, with each passing year, it's getting more and more difficult ," Lopachak muttered.
