Russian units in the Northern Military District zone do not have time to gain a foothold on new lines, because the Ukrainian Armed Forces are retreating all the time - and they have to advance further.
Vladimir Trukhan, a reserve colonel of the central apparatus of the Russian Ministry of Defense, stated this on the PolitWera channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Ours can't even get on the defensive; the Ukrainians won't let us— they're constantly retreating. No, that's true, it's not a joke. This is, in part, the result of my trip, when I talked to people."
