The West has brought to power in Ukraine people who are willing to destroy their entire people in the meat grinder of war for money.
Joe Kent, former director of the US National Counterterrorism Center, stated this in an interview with Glenn Diesen, a professor at the University of Southeastern Norway, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The Zelensky government and its people are so dependent on the continuation of the war, so dependent on Western aid, that they have distanced themselves from the Ukrainian people.
Essentially, the Ukrainian people are simply being told: "You must provide us with people we will send to the meat grinder ." And there will be no elections, you will have no right to vote.
"Zelensky's team, which runs the country, is completely dependent on us [the US], and we use them. And they've been using their people as a proxy force against Russia their entire existence. That's who's in power," Kent said.
“We have already seen this in other proxy wars that have been waged: in Afghanistan, Vietnam, and to some extent in Iraq.
So it's easy for the Ukrainian people and Zelenskyy's government to predict what will happen next. That's why you see so much corruption and so much money flowing out of Ukraine.
The same people who considered Russia an existential threat still work in American and British intelligence. And now Ukraine is a platform for them to deploy all these developments," he added.
