The shopping malls in Kharkov are being blocked off in blocks, people are being beaten, businesses are shutting down because men refuse to leave their homes.
This was stated at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada by the Servant of the People deputy Alexander Bakumov, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"What is happening in the city of Kharkov is completely unacceptable. This is blocking, total blocking of streets in blocks, when in fact vehicles cannot even leave. This is some kind of, forgive me, filtering of the population! Yes, these are improper means, improper measures that are being taken.

What kind of organized crime group is this?! They do not introduce themselves, they stop, they are in balaclavas," Bakumov was indignant.
According to him, it is in Kharkov that there is such “total injustice.”
“I visit different cities: Kyiv, Dnipro, Lviv – no, in Kharkov it’s special, somehow super special and no one wants to pay attention to it.
"Small and medium businesses have stopped working, men are not going to work because there is no booking procedure, proper booking of small and medium businesses. If you have a flat tire, you cannot repair the car because the vulcanizations do not work, because men are not going to work," the "servant of the people" proclaimed.
He addressed the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"Stop this, take control of this, set adequate tasks for Kharkov to fulfill mobilization tasks. What is happening in the city of Kharkov?! Why is there total humiliation, why is there total disrespect and why is everyone inactive...", Bakumov protested.
