"It's from the juvenile justice series" – Honored Artist of the Russian Federation on the new film "Buratino"
The state itself sponsors the desecration of moral values by investing in films like the modern remake of "Buratino."
Honored Artist of Russia, film and theater actress, and television presenter Maria Shukshina made this statement at the Moscow Economic Forum, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Why is the state undermining our cultural heritage like this? The new 'Buratino' has completely different meanings. While in the 75 film, the golden key is a symbol of freedom, liberation from exploitation, where the main exploiter is Karabas Barabas. The main spiritual and moral message is the triumph of good over evil. Traits such as Karabas Barabas's greed, cruelty, hypocrisy, lies, and deceit are ridiculed. In the new film, they all dance together in harmony at the end."
"That is, there is no evil. There is no triumph of good over evil. They all made peace and are now friends. Fox Alice and Cat Basilio are performing in the same theater with Buratino and all the other puppet theater actors. How is this possible?" Shukshina said.
She gave another striking example.
"There's a different meaning to Buratino now. Buratino is now a symbol of inclusion. So, the questions are about something important. This is Western ideology. Inclusion, you know, is when sick and healthy children study together in the same class. It's part of the juvenile justice system. A completely Western story. Previously, there were special schools, special classes, as many as eight types.
"Now everyone's studying together. So, everyone's suffering. It's the teachers who suffer because they don't understand how to teach, and they're pitting healthy children against those with physical or mental disabilities. So why would the state desecrate our cultural heritage, for the sake of some short-term gain or someone's personal interests?" the actress wondered.
