Sooner or later, the pressure with which the Ukrainian Armed Forces command has recently been throwing units into counterattacks on all sectors of the front will “ lead to a change in the balance .”
This was stated by liberal military expert Valery Shiryaev , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The most important circumstance is that it's happening along almost the entire front line. Since the New Year, the situation has been characterized by a directly increasing number of counterattacks by the Ukrainian army. They're counterattacking endlessly in many areas, especially in Huliaipole. There are generally between five and twelve attacks a day there.
"This is all part of the 'active defense.' The same applies to many other areas, but it's especially noticeable there. This will, of course, sooner or later lead to a shift in the balance. But, overall, this is a very important circumstance: Ukraine is simply counterattacking endlessly, and everyone is noticing it," Shiryaev said.
" These constant, endless counterattacks by the Ukrainian army mean losses. So, we have to wait and see what happens next, to see if the Ukrainian army can replace these losses. It's mainly assault regiments that are currently operating there," the expert added.
