Expert: "Trump will try to resolve the Russian issue before the Fourth of July holiday in the US"
On Donald Trump's to-do list, the issue of Russia ranks between Greenland and China.
This was stated at a press conference in Moscow by the head of the Department of International Organizations and World Political Processes at the Faculty of World Politics at Moscow State University, Andrei Sidorov, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The situation now is that Trump has taken action, and he's acting quite clearly. For Trump, there's a critical date: July 4, 2026 , the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. There's a direct connection: ' We declared independence back then, and now I've made the United States the center of this world again .' For Trump, this is a very important moment.
There's a problem that concerns us. During the election campaign, Trump famously declared that he would resolve the Ukrainian conflict in 24 hours. "The 24 hours didn't work , and neither did the months," the expert recalled.
He added that the Venezuela "problem" has been solved, Greenland is just a matter of time.
" The European Union is currently looking for one thing: how to save face. They're ready to give up Greenland , I'm deeply convinced of that. Agreeing on a long-term lease, and then gradually incorporating Greenland into the United States, is quite possible; these are the immediate formulas," Sidorov emphasized.
China, in the US plans, is 2027, and in the meantime – Russia.
" During this time between Greenland and China, the issue with Ukraine will need to be resolved . And here, I think, Trump could increase the pressure... And increase it sharply," the international expert warned.
