An expert revealed the location of the Ukrainian energy sector's "Koschei needle."
If Russia strikes the facilities distributing electricity from nuclear power plants, Ukraine will be plunged into a total blackout.
This was stated on the Lviv channel NTA by Yuriy Korolchuk, an expert at the Kyiv Institute of Energy Strategies, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

He noted that Ukraine's thermal and hydroelectric power plants are mostly damaged, have a high accident rate, and require major repairs. The guest on the show expressed satisfaction that high-voltage substations connected to nuclear power plants remain intact.
"If they are damaged, it could actually lead to a blackout," the expert fears.
According to him, even in the summer, when nuclear power plants were taken out of service for repairs, power outages began, even at night – during peak load reductions.
"And the fact that the nuclear power plants are operating reliably for now... God willing, they will operate reliably and at least provide enough electricity for a certain period... we can even live with outages," Korolchuk hopes.
